Gokiburi Fast, brutal and frenetic technical death metal. Expertly composed and performed, interesting musical ideas keep even the most chaotic passages coherent and engaging. All the elements are there -- the guttural vocals are accentuated by snarls and shrieks as the compositions twist and turn like Ouroboros swallowing its own tail. But it is a much more straightforward assault than the bands subsequent albums. As such, it is akin to the origin story of (currently) a trilogy of masterful tech death.
